My brother used these guys and it was all very easy (and reasonably cheap I think)....dunno abut the group 18 thing though.

Have you tried www.dayinsure.com ? There's no mention of insurance groups on their FAQ's, only that the car must be valued at less than £50K.

Another stupid question
Does anyone know a company that offers short term car insurance (like 2 days fully comp) for a car in group 18?
I've googled, filled in lots of online forms and the last question (
) is what is the cars reg number, followed by "sorry we cannot insure this vehicle due to it being group 18 or higher".
