It was for a weekend just to cover a couple of days after insurance lapsed and the sale of the car got extended. I therefore had history with them, so that may have made a difference...

ee they've been advertising on the telly the last few days, I will watch out for it tonight

Another stupid question

Does anyone know a company that offers short term car insurance (like 2 days fully comp) for a car in group 18?

I've googled, filled in lots of online forms and the last question () is what is the cars reg number, followed by "sorry we cannot insure this vehicle due to it being group 18 or higher".

Any companies to try?
