It takes me about 7 hours from Darmstadt to London. From Köln to Calais its about 3-4 hours but driving through Belguim is so boring. Make sure you tank up and then just put on the cruise control at 130 and keep going.

We did from the Hook of Holland to Essen in approximately just over 2 hours.
Obeyed the speed limits where designated then cranked it up to 140mph on the Autobahn. (I wasn't driving and I was a bit scared to say the least...even worse, nutters screaming past us at 180mph+)

Depends how fast you go.
I've made it from Calais to the Nürburgring in ~4 hours before, so about 3 hours to get to the border.
However I've also done the same trip and spent 2 hours just getting round the Brussels Ring Road.
