Didn't think of that. Hopefully they won't be letting any off tonight then.Originally posted by HairyArsedBloke View PostSee 'Happy Diwali'

Agree mate. Diwali I understand, but people have them for ordinary parties now, on any day, and some seem to think that midnight is a suitably apt time to start letting them off.Originally posted by Moose423956 View PostFireworks have been going off for at least the last hour and a half here. Not kidding, some of them sound like car bombs! Unbelievably loud. Can't be right. It's still 3 weeks to bonfire night! Hate fireworks, they should be banned.

It's that time of year again
Think I'll stay in tonight
My dogs are barking
Shaking scared
We don't light fireworks in this house
I hate the way they shoot and sparkle
It reminds me of a time I often clung to
And when I see the Catherine wheel turn
it only leaves me with heartburn
Cause it's the 5th of November
It's the 5th of November
It's the 5th and these fireworks make me blue
It's the 5th of November
It's the 5th of November
It's the 5th and I'm remembering you
It's cold out there
The grass is wet
And I don't care for muddying my shoes
I can see them from the window
See them if I want to
Leave me here with arms that I can cling to
Cheers are getting louder and louder
And roll around the sky like thunder
And later all my friends will come to tell me
About amazing fireworks they've seen
Cause it's the 5th of November
It's the 5th of November
It's the 5th and these fireworks make me blue
Cause it's the 5th of November
It's the 5th of November
It's the 5th and I'm remembering youLast edited by cojak; 18 October 2009, 09:13.

I think individual councils are taking a stance due to the number of complaints. Most are going for the date restrictions for sales accept for the organised events.
