What have the Libyans got?

Why is it that they have come out fighting with regards to the political fiasco surrounding the release of the alledged Lockerbie bomber.

Why is it that our glorious leaders all seem to have been smeared with the sticky tulip and have pretty much been made to look like rank political amateurs by a former tinpot dictator and his sons

Does this say something about the status of the UK in political circles these days?

Is it a case of "The spice must flow" with regards to oil?
