    Ah, CC.net. Those were wild days.

    It saw me through a very dull contract. Mind you it was using an atrociously coded forum. I managed to get it to display porn by embedding HTML in the subject line.

    It only really came of age when CC.net stopped its anonymous posting capability. That was the board for anything goes humour / insults / why postings- albeit with a very juvenile flavour, and is now a pale shadow of itself.

    I recall certain members of this board visiting and suggesting we post on CUK - I don't know how it happened but there was a group of noobs who tended to post only on TPD but escaped to General.

    The quality has declined significantly since that event

    I was pointed in it's direction by a very nice contractor chap at Warwick County Council.

    I've never been able to guess who he is on here....

    I bet he quickly regretted the day he told me about it though, saying as when I first joined I clocked up something like 1,000 posts per day
