AIUI being a chav is a complex thing, but it is mostly about attitude.
There is a look associated with being a chav, but looking like one doesnt make you one (though you are probably well on the way).
Tracksuits with one leg tucked into your white socks or women with scrape backs are sure signs.
It is the F U attitude that really makes a chav. The world owes them a living and they can live how they like. Anybody who questions them in any way is in for a tirade of abuse and possibly physical violence.
