I ve taken a look at glassdoor and tried googling my new boss with little joy
what do you guys do to get a feel for the new role you are about tom commit too
Search the company name
See if any of your ex collegues or contacts have worked for the company then phone or email him/her.
If not send a private message to one of the ex employees of the company
to ask their opinion.
You can also judge the company by how long contractors have stayed with
the project

It's work, therefore I assume it's going to be dull.
I am getting paid, so I will put up with virtually anything your standard office can chuck at me.
I am temporary, which is very comforting if it turns out worse than normal.
If you are lucky, you end up with some people who are ok and can have half a laugh with and eye candy always helps (current location, 3 straight blokes, 17 women, most under 30)...

Have a look at their website - is it like Dilbert without humour?

Though I didn't end up working on what the pimp said I'd be doing.

I quite often visit the client from 9 to 5 and sit there taking it all in. I often perform some tasks for them but I make sure i invoice them.
This process typically takes 3 months or longer.
