    No help to you but it reminded me of some 20-year-old Macallan that I drank. However 20- or 21-year-old Macalla is a little more than your price, and 25-year-old appears from time to time at Christie's

    The only place I go to for my Whisky. Look up the out-turns for this period, which are.. cask numbers:

    G1.5 @ 24 years £51 "Tantalising opulence"
    39.39 @ 26 years £71 "Fisherman's friend in a bakery"

    Nothing at 25 years, but I'm sure they'll have something in stock - you can go for a tasting in the London society before you buy..

    Anyone got any recommendations? My dad is starting retirement next week and I'd like to get him a bottle...he worked with his last company for 25 years, hence the relevance.

    Budget upto £90ish.
