Son bought me this for my birthday this year. I can highly recommend it although it doesn't match your age requirements.

Not a Scottish Whiskey, but MiddletonVery Rare is exceptional. Possibly just out of your budget though.

The scary part is they're out and about driving the next day like nothing happened...Originally posted by expat View PostOh, you could go through a whole bottle with a friend or two, just arguing about how to handle it .... I had friends in Portree who used to open a bottle and throw the cork on the peat fire, just so that everybody was clear about what was happening.

No help to you but it reminded me of some 20-year-old Macallan that I drank. However 20- or 21-year-old Macalla is a little more than your price, and 25-year-old appears from time to time at Christie'sOriginally posted by BrianSnail View PostThanks LG. I'd been looking at that site...but there are dozens to choose from. You got any favourites?

The only place I go to for my Whisky. Look up the out-turns for this period, which are.. cask numbers:
G1.5 @ 24 years £51 "Tantalising opulence"
39.39 @ 26 years £71 "Fisherman's friend in a bakery"
Nothing at 25 years, but I'm sure they'll have something in stock - you can go for a tasting in the London society before you buy..
