Previously on "Why is every company in this country absolutely ******* useless?!!"
It's amazing to see how quickly systems fall apart when all the contractors are chucked out. Well maybe it isn't amazing, but reassuring in a strange way.
Mind you, if you lot built the systems properly and didn't have to patch over each others incompetence there wouldn't be a problem, would there?
I called Virgin yesterday to cancel my TV and Internet as I am moving house, while they answered the phone they couldn’t do SFA as their systems were down. I mean why make me go through all of the menus when they could have put a message on saying 'we are useless and can’t take your call right now'.
Think they need a few more contracts to sort the place out.

Quality rant. To answer the question, all these arse faced large companies answer only to shareholders who demand stupidly high short term gains - the only way to achieve these gains (or at least the illusion of them that banks and winky accounts will believe) is through unsustainable stupid business practises which alienate all staff and customers at all times.

It's not fraud to use someone elses card with their permission, unless they've brought a new law in in the lasf few minutes?
I made the initial booking online with the same card and this was fine with them.
What was also going to be fine with them was if I passed my phone over to my husband who would have said "yes I authorise this" which is the most ridiculous ******* thing I've ever heard, as I could have just donned a fake Homer Simpson voice to do it!
It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't waiting 90 ******* minutes to get through to be told this!!!
And also, if they'd had an online payment page I could have PAID IT ONLINE WITH THE SAME MOTHER ******* CARD COULDN'T I?!!!!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drewster, don't tease the exhibits, they don't like it!
