This is about that economic/financial prediction model that was discussed last week, which claims to predict the exact day everything falls apart?
How did it take QE into account? If it didn't, then either the model is crap or QE is irrelevant and therefore not the doom everyone keeps claiming?
Or it's just the equivalent of those email "buy this stock!!!" scams, i.e. a self-fulfilling prophecy, like a meme-virus?

Sussed it now - I think this may be what Threaded has been on about:
North Korea threatens war if rocket is intercepted North Korea says it will wage war on America, Japan and South Korea if any attempt is made to intercept satellite rocket launch

Maybe Threaded has been reading Pravda and letting his imagination run away with him:
Great Britain looks like the first candidate for violent change in the coming months. Already there is talk of an upcoming “Summer of Rage,” starting when the G-20 leaders will meet in London at the beginning of April.
British authorities are certainly bracing themselves for what is coming, with 130.000 heavily armed policemen nationwide ready to quell street revolts. If that will not prove to be enough, army units will be deployed. Indeed, the British army has broad experience in controlling urban crowds. After all, that is essentially what the army has been doing all those years in Northern Ireland and Iraq (Basrah).
Students are angry and have been occupying some 30 universities in protest against British government support of Israel trying to revive the Warsaw Ghetto in the Gaza strip.
Pensioners are angry and desperate, the middle classes are fearful of joining the proletarian masses in Britain's horrid slums, and the millions of Muslims in Britain are also enraged.
In short, Britain is a powder keg just waiting to explode.

I carry the dust of a journey
That cannot be shaken away
It lives deep within me
For I breathed it every day
You and I are yesterday's answers
The earth of the past turned to flesh
Eroded by time's rivers
To the shapes we now possess
Come share of my breath and my substance
And mingle our streams and our times
In that infinite moment
Our reasons are lost in our rhymes

Reality stirred me
My Angel had heard me
The prayer had been answered
A reprieve has been granted
The dream was now broken
Thought rudely awoken
Really safe and sound
Asleep on the greyhound
One more Red Nightmare

[QUOTE=threaded;791282] "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
QUOTE]
Listen, lad. I built this kingdom up from nothing. When I started here, all there was was swamp. Other kings said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one... stayed up! And that's what you're gonna get, lad: the strongest castle in these islands.

What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written, "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
Yes indeed, 10 days to go.
The Stars are falling .
Then - no more talk of you and I.
