- Avoid going the PM route and re-skill into something technical.
- Enjoy my house rather than work on it all the flippin' time.
- Make second child.
- Get fit again. More 5-a-side, less commuting.
- Buy some woodland.
- Terminate the mole knackering my lawn.
- Research my Plan B a bit more, and if finances allow, start it.

In 2009 I would like to achieve the following: -

• Start my MSc
• Loose 2 stone
• Have a wonderful 1st anniversary
• Make a decision about having children
• Have at least £15k in my company bank account by the end of the year (after Tax)

What goals do you lot have?

• Pass my first module for my Masters.
• Start my second module for my Masters.
• Pay off my Bank Loan by August 09.
• Start paying off more on my Credit Card.
• Start thinking about being more sociable and possible finding a woman who may be stoopid enuf to want me.
• Think about buying a property.
• Redo my website.

Some of them are achievable, some of them are wishful thinking.

- finish paying student loan (finally) in March.
- sell second property oop north (freeing myself of unwanted burden)

- attempt to remain in contract throughout the year.

I don't think that these are going to prove too difficult to achieve.

Maybe I should be setting myself tougher goals but then I don't like the prospect of failure so I never start anything unless I am certain that I can finish it.

I still can't believe you've left us!!! That's such an awesomely brave thing to do Gonz, but you'll be a huge miss to everyone here in the UK

It doesn't matter that those aren't "hard" to achieve - they're all very big things. Sounds like you've got a huge life changing year planned! Good luck x x x
