Actually, Argos is the only place I've found so far that has anything in the style I'm looking for:Originally posted by DimPrawn View Post

Except I don't want it plated, and it needs to be a square-cut or similar. But that's the right kind of thing, all these other sites have more complex designs - I'm looking quite minimalist here, essentially a stone on a chain.

Sorry for lack of detail. I'm specifically looking for a silver necklace (simple elegant silver chain) with a single stone. Ideally it would be diamond but that would be more like £500 for a decent stone, so zirconia or similar would be OK.
And yes I guess £50 might be a bit low, let me revise to £100-200.

You'll get more bangs for your buck with semi-precious set in silver, btw...

£50-£100 sounds like cheap tat to me and hardly worth researching. You get what you pay for etc..Originally posted by d000hg View PostI've never bought any jewellery on the web, can anyone recommend a good site? I'm looking in the £50-100 range, so not exactly amazing but not £5 tat either.

Silver?
Gemstone? - Diamond or semi-precious?
Pearls?
