I was economising and not even realising it, time to raise the stakes.

In the late 90s on a contractors night out, we drank the restaurant dry of Dom Perignon, and had to slum it with Moet.

Nowadays, I prefer a £20 bottle of a good red than a £100 bottle of champagne.
