The voices are telling me to spend 3 weeks at home cleaning my gun collection. Do you have a problem with that?

Put your pants on your head, stick two pencils up your nose and go "Wibble".
Foolproof.

Exercise your termination clause and leave. It's bizness innit?Originally posted by bellymonster View PostWhats your best excuse for ditching a contract early?
I think I may have to leave 3 weeks early, don't like doing it and yes it's not very professional but the people I work with are all knobs so stuff 'em.
Is the truth the best (or only option)?

If you are going to fake your Death, be sure when you call to let them the tragic news - that your voice is a bit croaky as this will be more convincing for your unfortunate Emplyer.Last edited by AlfredJPruffock; 14 August 2008, 12:38.

Didn't work quite so well for John Stonehouse, but there you go.
I took a year off dead for tax reasons once. It was a bitch getting the NI number back.

Contagious/disfiguring medical problem?
Mr Flibble is very cross and has told you to go and see the king of the potato people.

I am going to bail out of my current project, part of me is glad of that because there are too many knobs on the project and it is making me look bad.
So I am going to emmigrate. That might seem a bit extreme, but I can blame it on my wife wanting to go home, and so I don't have to tell the PM that I am fed up of working with knobs.

I don't do it, I don't like it - but if there are factors beyond your control, then 'perosnal reasons' should be cited. No questions asked.Originally posted by bellymonster View PostWhats your best excuse for ditching a contract early?
