if you can't separate the tasks and responsibilities and money.... ignore the stuff and concentrate on the people and personalities: who would you rather work for/with?

Basically, this boils down to Tech/Business skills with product management and BA training... vs a responsible role being all arty but having the tech knowhow to hire the relevant developers to realise multimedia projects with a marketing agenda - whatever that might be.
