Already been done, and in use here at clientco on a practical scale. Any mention of work , and the permies all disappear completely.

Scientists in the US say they are a step closer to developing materials that could render people invisible.
Editors note: I am sceptical but will read on with an open and enquiring mind.

So far they can make things a billionth of a metre invisible
Editors note: Things this size seem pretty much invisible already though?

The new system works like water flowing around a rock, the researchers said
Editors note: Surely we already have the technology to bend water around rocks?

The research, funded by the US government, could one day be used in military stealth operations - with tanks made to disappear from the enemies' sight
Editors note: Especially for a tank the size of a molecule.
