Good to see the majority of intellectuals here can see Man Made Global Warming for the croc it plainly is.
Still a few sad individuals that believe a completely rebukked and now discredited report written by the goverment nearly 10 years ago.

Anthropogenic Pear-shaped warming, doesn't really have much of a ring about it. Saturn - now thats got a nice ring about it.
Anthropogenic Oblate-Spheroid Warming - no, just doesn't work for me.

I was willing to listen to the evidence, but I have become increasingly sceptical. I now believe that scientists have exploited the situation as a source of grants and governments have jumped on the issue because it is seen being good for their image and an excellent source of revenues.

My stance basically:- Climate change happens, something is always behind the change and man may be it this time

- It's not great science since little effort goes into disproving/discrediting the theory or models. It shares some similarities to a belief system here.
- There's little or no research done into the real and un-PC causes of and solutions to climate change, i.e. population growth and agriculture
- All economically obtainable oil will be used regardless
- Little research is done into the positive affects of warming climate. All is doom and gloom

The government funded scientists where the conclusion of the report doesn't even stack up over time.Originally posted by NetworkNinja View PostI don't see how you can ever get a non-biased answer to a lot of these problems. Another prime example would be the MMR / Autism scandal. Who can you trust ??

Oh, the planet isn't even warming, so that makes the whole argument of whether the climate is warming due to human activity meaningless....
