    I was once given a dressing down by a PM on a Home Office Project in the office for doing this.

    I was so pissed off I walked off the job. PM later got fired for poorly managing the project. Great stuff.

    What the end-users want and what the business wants are often two very different things. Having end-users involved in any project is bad news.

    And if the end-users disagree it just means you need a new set of end-users.
