Mind you, we have 6-10 weeks on holiday, and after 18 years and three kids, she still looks good in a bikini. And out...

'scuse me, just going to nip home for 'lunch'.

On the other hand, you and your mum are the first people I've ever heard of who haven't been able to use an iPod.

as Thomas said, the device did not meet expectations, the results were presented to the steering committee at the toll gate 2 meeting and a unanimous decision was made to remove the hobbyist eye pod from the scope of the deliverables with the comments that the technology should be avoided until there is proven and demonstable evidence of its maturity in the market place and other customer successes

IIRC all iPods are formatted with the Mac filesystem (HFS+) which Windows being Windows, is too dumb to be able to read.

You'll need iTunes to reformat the iPod to FAT32 before Windows can read/write to it.

IIRC there's a setting on the iPod itself that says what it's connecting to windows or Mac (I'd have a look but I've left mine at the hotel) - could that be it?

Good to hear that your old man's out of hospital!

Try not to stay so far from your comfort zone next time and get him a walkman. I'm sure you know somewhere to get cheap tapes.

    Sas,

you been reading too many books about things you don't understand.

Suggest you stick to the Beano.

Milan I believe it's your masochistic streak that forces you to display your absolute uselessness on a public forum. I can't think of any other reason.
