Getting a contract in Slough is like being down on your last dollar and dealt a 7-2 off suit in Texas Hold'em by the agency...

No, as someone else said, it's Mars. But...are Cadbury's looking for MQ people?

Sluff, bleargh! That place is the most depressing place on the planet, I refuse to visit ClientCo there.

Good luck if you have to work there on a daily basis.

Invoice them for every day between when you left and when you start back there.

started a topic Things have gone full circle

    Things have gone full circle

A few years ago, I worked for a company which provided a Websphere MQ and Message Broker service to a client, a large chocolate manufacturer. At one point they decided to outsource the service to a different company, one from India. I ended up training some of them to do my job before it was handed over. They've been supporting it ever since.

Now they have a requirement for a member of the team, but they can't find anyone from the Indian company, and they can't recruit anyone either. So they've asked if I can do it instead!

    How the worm has turned.

Working...
