Not at all, this is easily fixed. Take the back off, reach in and pull out the blue line. (Be careful to turn off at the mains first). Re-inflate with a bicycle pump and replace. You will find the red and green bands will spontaneously regenerate after a few days.

Whilst watching telly, it suddenly went bang, a puff of smoke appeared at the back and the screen went blank displaying a blue line....

Is it f*cked ?
