    Cash anytime.
    I also carry a spare £ 50 (not in my wallet) just in case.
    From experience, when I am in contract I pay cash (or by debit card if more than £ 100) whereas when out of contract I use my credit cards.

    £80 in notes
    £10.40 in change
    and a lottery scratch card worth £2
    + usual cards (debit/credit/business etc.)

    oh and a Subway scrabble tile, letter 'T'

    all encompassed in a Air Mail Envelope style paper wallet about 2" thick
