A friend's son has just come back from Riga and apparently a good time was had by all. I'm sure it was judged by the same beers-and-birds criteria you're looking for.

5 hours to NYC was more than enough. Maybe a fly-drive sometime.

10-ish hours. Gives you time to sleep as you won't while you're there.

Good at repairing bullet holes as well is it?

Is it one of those places where you have to wear a mustache to fit in, and that's just the women!?

Do Cuba while you still can (before it turns into a big Mac-Island for fat Americans).

Great booze, great music, great beaches and cigars rolled on sultry thighs.

We have no problem starting early wherever we go. Last time we had the beers lined up at the airport at about 6am IIRC! We were probably still more sober than the pilot.

Riga is currently favourite as it's a bit more adventurous, though Prague is a close second because at least one of us has been there before so knows what to expect. Amsterdam is the fail-safe option as always.

Main criteria is obviously booze and birds, and repeat until skint or nearly dead.

Prague has a sense of "been there done that" for stag dos.

You want to head to the Baltic States, get a bit of shooting AK47s and other stuff done then bang the more attractive prossies. None of the rubbish you get in Cz.

If you're feeling really adventurous, got to Moscow or St Petersberg. You'll need a visa but the hookers are all lookers.

Just had mine (last weekend) in Warsaw. We got flights and 2 nights accommodation at the 5* Marriott for just under £200 each

Warsaw was OK –but all the bars are spread out so a fair amount of walking is involved. Also Warsaw was flattened in the war and then rebuilt by 1950’s architects – the whole place reminds me of Luton !!!

Stick with Prague, there is a big main square with all the pubs and establishments together, this is apart from the old town.
