Ooooh, I thought you weren't getting into an internet slanging match?

Anyway you'll not see me throwing my toys out the pram and threatening to leave the thread cause someone doesn't agree with me or calls me names.

You might not agree with me, or I you but I'm pretty sure people would agree that I'll stand my ground in a debate, and not flounce around like a 12 year old who doesn't get his way.

    Bit sad really.

Funny, you seem to think we should care what you think but don't seem so willing to listen to the responses following your sweeping generalisations based on your extensive in depth knowledge of London (And WA10).

BTW If you don't want an internet slanging match I suggest you don't log onto internet forums and post your views.

Having lived in London, albeit many years ago, I can't help feeling that arguing the relative merits of two large cities is rather like trying to decide whether you want to be kicked in the balls or punched in the face. Cities, in my experience, are generally foul, dirty and crime ridden. I only ever visit in a "tourist capacity" (you know, museums, galleries, shows etc) or on business, but then I get the hell out as fast as I can.

I live about 20 miles west to south west of Manchester. Large parts of the suburbs of Manchester are dismal. Other suburbs like Alderley Edge, Prestbury are extremely wealthy. But Manchester is a good place to go and do a bit of shopping, theatre etc.... London has all the shops, museums etc ofcourse... but it is a total sh*t hole. Never meet anyone working in a shop, cafe, restaurant, hotel that is actually British. I wouldn't live there if you doubled my money. Shame really because there's loads of interesting stuff happens there.

    Not personal attacks. Objective observations.

Been said a few times but clearly you're clueless when it comes to London (And actually on many other things, but we'll leave that alone), so probably best that you refrain from making yourself look like a bigger idiot than you already appear to be.
