I spoke to tax guy once, a real one, not the phone jockeys that answer the enquiry lines. He seemed quite geeky almost autistic and actually genuinely interested in tax and the finer points of the tax code, and probably without much empathy for others. I could see him spending his own time (even without work interent access) looking up stuff like this. HMRC might be a big bureauracy but they have many different individuals working for them.

I suspect somebody looks at this site if not officialy and reports back anything interesting.
Remember that S****99 was quoted in The House.

Now now SA, it wouldn't be fair if they weren't allowed to play about on facebook and rummage through forums all day would it now....
Socialist government FFS of course they can surf the net all day!!!

I'd be careful what you posted, I'd say HMRC have a closer eye on this place than you think. If I worked for them it's what I would do - I can't believe that everyone who works for Hector is less bright than me. Also be careful purely becuase this place is open to google.
As long as you didn't say "I am JoBloggs Ltd I am IR35 caught but do £1 salary and £900k divs and don't have an accountant" then I don't think it would matter.
An agent once asked me if I was Sockpuppet from CUK. Woops.

would have thought they'd be a bit to busy these days sending out letters to people who's details they've lost to read forums.
