    I worked with a bod who would look you in the eye and say in a deadpan voice: "you f'coffee".

    It always took a little while to realise it meant he thought it was his turn to go to the tea-bar.

    But there was something in the way that he said it that suggested he did not enjoy his work.

    Had a 'Coffee' with boss....

    Well, he has agreed to me working 7-3 if I was to go permie.

    Just waiting to see what the money on the table is.

    If would not cover my travel, then would push for a car.

    Failing that, looks like a fond farewell to another client as could be hard to stay on contracting if I refuse a permie offer.

    Could be an interesting week......
