It's a totally stupid attitude. At best, short term thinking. Since the earth is already doomed by such events as asteroid hit, super volcanoes, gamma ray bursts, nearby supernovae, the sun becoming a red giant etc., it seems to me the only hope the planet's life has is for humans to develop the technology to seed other planets, and defences against these natural disasters.

And the pig-headed buggers refuse to eat or shag anything else.Originally posted by zeitghostPandas hate themselves so much they eat food that they can't digest properly & don't have the urge to procreate more than once a year...
Whereas humans will eat and shag anything...

I wonder if any other earth species suffers such self-loathing?Originally posted by zeitghostwhat got me was the self hatred of the twat right at the end... wishing that hu-mans would all die out & leave the fluffy bunnies alone to take over the world.
Apart from pandas, obviously.

Surely humans all dying out would suit the alien lizard population quite nicely?Originally posted by zeitghostIt was ok as these things go... what got me was the self hatred of the twat right at the end... wishing that hu-mans would all die out & leave the fluffy bunnies alone to take over the world.
Which would be a senseless waste of good food in my opinion.
Long pig is much more tasty than rabbit stew.

I saw bits of the programme - which was quite interesting.
Best bit was the baby panda making the big one jump.
Maybe I missed something in the rest, though - I had been drinking.

Dido - Carthage?
And a bit of software I used in my CAD days. Can't remember what it stood for. Dross In Dross Out probably, knowing some of the people who used it.
