Apparently this more appropriate one is full of young girls registering under false aliases for the chance to leer at more mature, sensible gentlemen.
Over-50s get networking website
An internet social networking site, in the style of Facebook and MySpace, has been launched aimed at people over 50.
The Saga Zone site was developed by the Saga Group, based in Folkestone, Kent, which specialises in products and services for the over-50s.
Some 13,000 people signed up to the site, which includes forums on subjects from gardening tips to relationship advice, in a trial four months ago.
Saga said the oldest person so far on the site was aged 87.
Communications watchdog Ofcom said in August its data showed over-50s accounted for 30% of time spent online in the UK.

My day, get in for 9am and login, head to the canteen bacon sandwich nice big cup of coffee, read City AM. Back to desk, played around with some stuff which was good for the CV, long lunch met an ex-colleage had a curry, back to desk some CUK, BBC, EBAY. 5pm start work 6pm left for gym. Not been here long not sure how long Im going to last, currently I have no one to answer to and nothing to do making most of it before I get busy or they decide i should go.Last edited by MobileCheese; 2 November 2007, 00:07.

That's all Facebook is Xog. No debates, no discussion on immigration, house prices, BTL etc. Just page after page of young girls looking for cheap gratification with an older man.
AtW has registered under 200 aliases.

I still have not looked at this famous Facebook, attempted to follow a CUK link the other day but couldn't be bothered to register, is it worth the effort? Are there loads of young girls gagging for older blokes on it?
PS Somebody did mention facebook further up but I never use the quotes thing, it causes global warming.

But I have tempered my enthusiasm at times, and refused to be drawn into debates that I think are better off left alone.

well.. i've come in, had a phone call from the girlfriends sister telling me off for making gf upset last night she started the argument (about her working massive overtime and also not wanting to quit smoking as she had said she intended to do, all my fault obviously) i couldnt be bothered to argue (top gear was about to start and i missed it on sunday) so i just agreed..
read CUK post about xmas parties, checked it with HMCE and accoutant, started looking for ideas.. this seems pretty good fun..
happily received a remittance notice for an invoice so started looking at what to buy this weekend as a treat on my hard work, decided on these.
played with my new mob phone for a bit ensuring it synched with my laptop as required.
realised it was 11am and i hadnt actually done a thing so printed off a work request and made some changes (red pen, very important), made a brew. Updated worklog and the triplicate of end of month timesheets for client and agent. sent them off.
Had lunch, now reading CUK, really should do some work.. just received delivery of Tomtom navigator software/maps for my new PDA, thats this evening sorted. right back to work..

It's quite dull here - mostly bug fixing and packaging, but it's also fairly laid back and more importantly, close to home.
I just renewed for another 3 months - was offered 6 but they wouldn't stretch to the bigger rate increase I wanted for that so settled for 3 months and a smaller increase.
Gets me though xmas, was planning of having some more time off in Feb and then start looking again March / April

Worked on some use cases for the SDD0 and then tried out some test cases but they all failed so IM'ed a collegue who told me the workaround but problems occurred later. Need to add some more test cases, modify others and work on the SVT plan still, possibly. Also this gives me time to work on other client projects, can I be bothered, maybe...
