A friend of mine has a swimming pool, as the other poster pointed out they are a money pit to heat, treat etc.
I'd be happy living there. I don't think the road noise will be as bad as some might think. Have you been to have a look?

Er, it's near Swindon. I have never heard a good word said about Swindon.
I have never been there myself, although I did once spend 4 hours sitting in a stationary train just outside Wootton Bassett because locals had thrown debris onto the track.Last edited by Gonzo; 25 October 2007, 21:01. Reason: I was in the train, not on it. We are not in India, although my job might be soon.
