Nero .iso files can clog up a drive pretty quick, we have several shared PC's here that are used exclusively for burning data and I can only assume that when it asks if you want to save once burned they always say yes.

    These little buggers.

They come from space, and are attracted to spinning lasery disks. They get between the laser and the disk, making it unreadable.

Cunning naming really, they are from space and eat space...

Oh ZG - it's most likely the space lice, nothing to do with kaspersky.
If I upgrade I'll switch it off then, besides like most here I sure I backup often to a passive media, don't you?

I've just found a report file (eventlog.rpt) which is 475Mb... I think it's for the bin...

Don't mind the update business. I've got it set to manual update coz I don't like things going on in the background & stealing what little download bandwidth I've got...

Don't know what you're worried about, no-one should ever need more than 640k

I also find that turning off hibernation if you do not use it saves disk space...but not as much as deleting all that p0rn...

If you delete all the .flv files on your hard drive, that should free up 50GB or so.

To store restore points, you need at least 300 megabytes (MB) of free space on each hard disk that has System Protection turned on. System Restore might use up to 15 percent of the space on each disk. As the amount of space fills up with restore points, System Restore will delete older restore points to make room for new ones".
