£30 is nothing these days.
I will be on site on Friday when I try to buy them. Hopefully I will be able to contain myself if I'm successful.

They did a presale via the band's mailing list this morning (yes, I am a terrible fanboy), but there will be more tickets on Friday. They cost, deep breath, 30 quid each plus "booking fee". But I don't get out to see many shows these days, and this one looks good.Originally posted by OrangeHopper View PostI did start a "Them Crooked Vultures" a couple of weeks back and it sank like a stone.
I thought the tickets go on sale Friday. How did you get your ticket in advance? I'm trying to decide whether to go to Portsmouth or Hammersmith or even both.
How much are the tickets?
Didn't see your thread. But yeah, it did sink a bit didn't it. Just did a search for it. :-(Last edited by dang65; 2 September 2009, 14:54.

Yeah, sorry about that. I just thought that if I started a thread titled "Them Crooked Vultures" then people would just assume it was another agency rant and ignore it.

They just won't be as good as they were at Knebworth.
Enjoy your evening you lucky bar steward.
I'll have to make do with the Foo Fighters next year.

Is it hell... the old skool bands blow the nippers of the stage.Originally posted by shelby68 View Post..lets face it rock and rolls a young mans game...
Modern bands don't have a clue how to get a crowd fired up.
** disclaimer for the sweeping generalisation above - there are one or two current bands I'd consider seeing... not many though **

Got to be honest I saw Page and Plant in 1997 and it really wasn't that good, I think they are a bit past it now, saw The Who a few months ago and they were the same, lets face it rock and rolls a young mans game... get back to your garden Jimmy and try not to fall over this time.
I'm surprised how cheap the tickets are on eBay though.
