    eeeek!

Having said that, I really can't believe some of the clothes some shops sell for that age group. Black everything, playboy bunny motifs, skin tigh revealing stuff and high heels. High heels for 9 year olds?? Not surprised they are so sexually aware.

    After asking 'her indoors'...

The very best smellies can be purchased from Jo Malone in her opinion. She specialises in candles, bath products etc.

If you really want to push the boat out buy Creme De La Mer (more for the face - face cream and such like), La Prairie (Skin Caviar) or Ren from Space NK, or an Eve Lom facial.

    She has expensive tastes.

Elemis, Clarins, L'Occitane, Decleor, Molton Brown???? For a female mate? Bit over the top if you ask me! She'll think you're after her spending that kind of money on smellies for her.

That said, Sanctuary does give the impression of "I was in Boots and couldn't think what to get you so I picked this up cheap!"
Cheaper than Elemis etc but better than Sanctuary I would say Lush is probably your best bet.

Like someone said above though, I reckon a CD or DVD is safer!

Get her a pound of pig's liver. Then she can either eat it or rub it on her naked body, according to personal preference.

Sanctuary = no imagination as you can just rush into any large Boots and buy it in a gift set.

Molton Brown stuff is good as it looks like you made some effort.

Jo Malone is nice, or Laura Mercier, or even Clarins if you are desperate.

Bodyshop has never worked for me and Roddick was a lefty nutter.

    Sanctuary is yucky.

I agree with Cailin - if you must get toiletries, get them from the body shop.

Liz Taylor's perfume: who the fook would want to smell like an ancient woman who never managed to snare a bloke for more than 3 minutes?

There's a new perfum that women are going wild for. Evidently it smells of money.
