There's a listing of marriage laws by state. It's not just the bible belt either. In New York, they can marry at 14, with parental consent. In some states, it looks like there's no limit, so long as there is parental consent.

It's just arranged marriages. As a parent, I can see the logic of arranged marriage - I can make a far better choice for my children than they could. What's rather creepy is that there isn't a www.marryourson.com site.

The New York "14 and above" thing came in to reduce the illegitimate births figures!
