Afraid my printer knowledge only goes as far back as the LaserJet 4 (some limited LaserJet III) which was a real workhorse. Now that was a classic.
However, it's easy for manufacturers to make you hate a piece of hardware by issuing poorly written drivers. A LaserJet 2100 being a fine example of this.
Jesus, I sound like a geek.
I'll get me coat. Sorry, meant anorak!

Anyone else notice that most of these pointless findings are by 'Australian scientists'. Bloody doom mongers.

Scarcely a day goes by without one being told of the latest supposed health scare - we are sick and tired of this endless twaddle - from cigarettes to petrolouem - and now this.
No doubt it is the usual bunch of socialist neer-do-wells who are behind this idiotic conspiracy.

Laser Printers May Pose Health Threat

This would affect contractors more as we tend to get given the crappy desks (i.e. the ones next to the printers) that the permie's haven't already taken.
In my current gig I was initially given such a desk and had to move after a couple of weeks because my eyes were dry and sore. Never thought about my lungs.Tags: None
