I thought Higgins was dead, hadn't seen him on the news for ages so thought he had lost his fight against C.....

Saw Steve Davis in a country pub last year, having a meal with a young slip of a girl (20 ?). She was cooing at him and doing all the right things, but he just looked bored.

Good. No idea on circumstances. Don't care. Snooker utterly dull, never follow.
BUT
Referees=laws/rules. Shoot/stab. If all else fails, punch.

I nearly ran Alex Higgins down on my bike in Belfast when he stepped out into the road without looking - what a crap claim to fame. The man in bullet proof - he's had the big C for years and should be long gone from my understanding.

He drinks in my local when hes in London. Spends his days watching the racing and dissapearing to billy hills over the road every now and then. Agreed, he looks like sh1t. He is always pleasant enough though.Originally posted by DodgyAgentHave you seen him recently, he is like a skeleton with a bit of skin holding him together, I am surprised he can even lift a snooker cue.

He has throat cancer, hence the Skeletor impression.
