It was an organized tour of sorts, we went on an excellent bike tour http://www.fattirebiketoursberlin.com/ and had such a laugh with the guides they said come out with them, we didn’t pay them anything though I expect they got free drinks as a kickback for taking us to the bars.

Tagging onto one of the organised bar crawls can be good for a laugh too. Somehow we ended up in a bus plying us with even more booze from naked tour guides giving us a city tour. It got a bit hazy after that though.

Stuffed if I can remember the name of the bar at the bottom of the road but it used to be a squat, has an enormous great TV projection onto the apartment block at the back of it and bloody great gas burners inside the converted warehouse throwing burning propane about 20 feet into the air.

Some good bands there too, although I'm normally well past the incoherent stage by then.

I really like Berlin, it’s not the prettiest of places but there's a unique buzz about it.

Oranien Berg stasse (sp) can be a bit of an eye opener of a night time. I am very concerned for some of the poor eastern european ladies. They seem to have very little clothing but do seem fortunate in that they can often find somebodys car to gain warmth and shelter in.

Great bars for a night on the lash though.
