Originally posted by interested...unfortunately I think Cameron's Conservatives are NL Mk 2
But while NL spin themselves as business-friendly, family-friendly, and all the rest, underneath it hasn't stopped them carrying out traditional socialist policies.
Cameron's tories will also spin themselves as business-friendly, family-friendly, and all the rest, while underneath carrying out traditional tory policies.
This is the way it works now.

My own preference would be a refreshingly spin-free 'this is the extent of the problem and this is what we are planning to do to fix it.'
Unlikely to happen though, unfortunately I think Cameron's Conservatives are NL Mk 2

Alternatively, build our own island out in international waters. Just need to encourage one of those undersea volcanoes to become more active and voila, instant UK haven. Would have some nice fancy under-floor heating as well. Perfect. Let's do it.

No Volcano needed
We could just free the UK Fridge mountain 12 miles offshore and found the new democratic republic of Indesit.
Alternatively we could move to the mid Atlantic and build a small continent based on New Labour press releases that were untruthful, should get something the size of Africa. OK we might have to use some of the spare releases to build a 12 lane bridge between the UK & US.

He is admitting that the only way our economy has survived is because he has been able to rob pension plans.[/QUOTE]
Typical "benefit from it now, worry about it later in the hope it goes away" mentality like much of the public have towards debt.
