More whinging from the immigrant. Why don't you feck off then?Originally posted by FranckoShhhh... Switzerland is boring, everybody is ugly and incompetent, there are no good pubs or bingo palaces. Everybody is better off in the UK where taxes are low, the government gives you everything you want, crime is very low and the quality of life is the best in the world.
Mind you, someone like you would be a loser wherever you are.

That's a big "only"; I think I'd take my chances with the continentals, in all honesty.Originally posted by shaunbhoyAt least in Bristol you only have the Welsh next door!!

Look at it this way. Check out Switzerland's neighbours. The French on one side and the Austrians on the other, the Germans above you and the Italians below you. You'd never sell a flat with those choices would you? At least in Bristol you only have the Welsh next door!!

Bristol (if you can stand the accent), and then we can get some clout to organise a CUK night there....
Also, how can you compare the lakes in Switzerland with the wonderful suspension bridge and the Avon Gorge????

Surely it doesn't get any better than that?Originally posted by cojakI'm off to watch breakfast telly while I munch on a slice of toast and LB's marmalade.

You need to get out of London.Originally posted by FranckoYes people are very sad there. Not like in the UK where everybody constantly smiles at the risk of permantently damaging your jaws.
Yes and everything it's so expensive. Can you believe a small jar of marmite can cost even 5 pounds? Don't go there. Stay in UK, everything is cheap and cheerfull there.

The rate's better for Bristol and I'd end up with more money in my pocket by the end of the contract.

Ah wow, good for you lass!
Are both jobs pretty similar?
Switzerland would be a great experience I bet (unless you've already worked there before like).
I think what yuo need to do is do a bit of research on t'internet to find out which blokes are sexier - that should make the decision easier
