    And one for the vocalists,

Why is a lead singer like a drunk?

They both come in late and never know which key to use.

How do you tell when the drummers riser is level?

Whats the differance between a Drummer and a Drum Machine.

With the Drum Machine you only have to punch the tune in once.

It certainly is the toughest on the ears - jazz drummers sound like they're building a shed - ******* racket.

cf. that chick off White Stripes. As long as you can keep a regular beat it can't be that hard, can it?

My son has been drumming for a year, he reckons you can pick up the basics in days, but the hard stuff is 'dislocating all four limbs and the head, so they can all act independantly'

He reckons he will master this in another year. He also reckons jazz drumming is the toughest

Been meaning to book some more in as this guy was really good but workin away a bit at mo so will have to wait.
That's interesting did you just hit the drums with the drumsticks or do you have to do something "clever" with them.

Side drums are a bit gay - nothing wrong with that sort of thing of course...some of my best mates are gay.

Get a proper drum kit, yer big poof - again, said in a jocular way, rather than any kind of homophobic put down
