I was wondering what was being missed out because the top 10 minutes of main news programmes was diverted to reporting PR from the kingery company.
-
I bet there's a lot of news being hidden under the carpet due to the noise about the monarchy. Definitely a good week to bury bad news.

Then again they seem to love Putin too.
Reality really really really is borked beyond repair.

It is somewhat ironic that in the US it's the Republicans who most like the UK monarchy.

Many 'septics' seem to be protesting, with slogans including "Democracy not Monarchy" and "The Constitution is not optional".
Reality is borked. Long live Reality.

The septics are so jealous they've just elected a king that wants to crap on them from a fighter jet.
Who'd have thunk?
Reality is borked.

Timewarp Radio Signals
I initially thought that I was recieving reflected radio signals from the outer reaches of the universe when the 6pm 'news' came on and the headline item started "Buckingham Palace announced ..." followed by a load of stuff about 'kings' etc.
Seems I missed the opening of the broadcast which would surely have been 'This is 2LO" or "This is London Calling". I thought I was receiving something from over 100 years ago!
Seriously, it's the 21st Century, and the news headlines are about monarchy nonsense, which is long overdue for decommissioning together with the silly titles and so-called 'honours'. But no, BBC propaganda considers this the top news item!
I'd really like journalists to hold our useless government to account, rather than promoting medievalism.Tags: None
