Not acting like a dick could have fixed all this but who knows what has happened to fuel all this. I'm sure they'll just all carry on being fabulously wealthy, dysfunctional and miserable like they all are after the dust has settled though.
Used to run managent developement weeks at Ragley Hall with CSC. Doing Belbins roles, motivation and competency based testing which included building rafts and bridges over ponds while assessing the teams, all while getting paid. Ah they were the days.
Reading this article and others and seeing the pictures of everyone it doesn't sound like anything different from an episode of any period drama involving the aristocracy. Us common folk can't understand their lifestyle so does seem odd to us. Sounds like he's acted like a proper arse to be fair but if you've spent nigh on 30 years of your life expecting it, and it's the culture in the hoi polloi, then you could understand why he's upset. The aristocracy aren't known for having close loving familes like normal people so again, somewhat understandable they've fallen out over money.

The Earl of Yarmouth has sued his parents for the 'trauma' of not inheriting their £85 million estate, Ragley Hall.
William Seymour, 32, has sued his parents, Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford - claiming that they denied him his inheritance.
The earl expected to inherit Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, when he turned 30.
The estate includes a 16th century mansion, multiple farms, and hundreds of acres of land.
He told the High Court that his parents have been treating him badly since he married his wife, a former Goldman Sachs banker.
They now run an elderflower liqueur distillery together.
