A treasury minister may have broken the law and be facing a minimum £10,000 fine for failing to get an energy certificate for her rental flat, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Tulip Siddiq, who was investigated over an 'inadvertent' failure to register rental income on the same property earlier this year, is now facing questions over whether she has upheld her legal obligations as a landlord.
