    Luckily the portrait was protected by a perspex screen. But what brain dead twonks seek to destroy rather than build? All they'll achieve is forcing all art work to be shown behind protective screens thus depriving the public of the full art experience. Perhaps Damien Hurst's next work should be twonks in formaldehyde

    Animal rights activists have targeted a portrait of the King, appearing to paste over his face with the animated character Wallace.

    A speech bubble, reading, "No cheese Gromit. Look at all this cruelty on RSPCA farms," was also put onto the painting at the Philip Mould gallery in central London.
