    Most people would not prescribe losing your mother as a learning opportunity. Not getting on the first team is a slightly gentler lesson.

    I was thinking that losing your mother in an avoidable road accident, caused primarily by a drunk driver, and not wearing a seatbealt, whilst pursued by paparazzi because she was in love with a moslem; was where 'disappointment in life' would be learned.
    I don't think that even compares to being an Aston Villa fan.
