    Nah it was just a lazy way of saying saying you are fully aware of what happened to the Duke's mother, who he blames for her death, and what happened when he was in the army to ruin his career. You are also aware like many other people in the public eye, including well-known politicians, he gets horrible stuff in the post and death threats. Hence him allegedly being "difficult" over his family's security.
