Hey we welcome all contractors - we even have a builder... somewhere... I know we have a builder, everyone was asking him for a quote and Lucy proposed.

Trust me the internet me is very different to the real me. In the real world you'd probably think I was thirty and old before my time. I'm very professional at work however I neither work for this guy nor like him.

I do indeed have a new contract though....one week special. Back working for tesco ..... mobile office, 50ft long and has "You shop, we drop" written on the side. Yep, got bored of the house and opted for a week of HGV driving.

Mincings Limited. Skills used. Nothing useful, twiddled thumbs mainly. They were crap they were, took 3 years to do a 5 months project.

Angry clients, angry pimps. You need to get yerself sorted mate. IT contracting is for professional business people, not idiots (apart from Milan, MF, etc).

That sounds like fun, especially if they're that sort of company they probably have a 'policy' about that kind of thing...

    Yeah, do it!
I did something very much along those lines (special page, but not porn) several years ago drove the people in question mad. I even had them threatening me with legal action. But they backed down when I said I had the logs and could show it was only them that access the offending page and how much time they spend on on it.

I asked them if senior management and shareholders were aware of them wasting so much time. They went away after that.

started a topic Old Boss Just Phoned Me...

    Old Boss Just Phoned Me...

    Ha ha..

Just had an old boss phone me about "material" on my website that he wants removing. I asked him what it was and it was my CV

Stuck it in a folder so a pimp who I was havng problems e-mailing it to could get it. Google must have found it. Its old and out of date and still lists them as my employer.

Looking at the access logs he keeps checking it every 5 mins or so to see if I have changed it...

I'm thinking that some apache rewrite rules and a selection of gay porn are needed for his IP address....

Working...
