    HS2 worker kneels on 'carrot-throwing' protester's neck | Metro News


    An HS2 worker threw a man to the ground and knelt on his neck for four minutes after he caught the protester ‘catapulting carrots’ onto a construction site. Footage of the incident shows the worker in high vis restraining a man who is lying on the ground by the side of the road as people shout at him to take his knee away. Complaints have been made about the ‘excessive use of force’ but HS2 bosses say their staff have been ‘repeatedly targeted by political activists.’ Police were called to the site where the line is being built at Fradley Wood in Staffordshire on Sunday, November 15, while workers were clearing trees.
