That's right Greg, you get in there before he says something really racist like "Jews are a bit money driven"

ethnic mix roughly 1/3 BAME in Croydon its not just tower blocks where they put the ex cons there are lots of nice little bungalows with old people. Plenty of white people into crime there but I was surprised how low the drug offences were a mate lives over there and he says parts are rife with it.

This is one strange shooting and sorry for the officer who was shot, apparently just about to retire however there seems to be some important questions to be asked:
- he was searched away from the police station and found to have cannabis and ammunition but no weapon
- in a secure area with his hands cuffed behind him, he managed to pull a weapon out and then shoot not only the police officer but also himself
- he was known to have been flagged over concerns about both rightwing and Islamist indoctrination but nothing serious, how many times have we heard that?

Different type of tulipe. It's like how the Kensington public are the scum of the Earth (with some charming exceptions).Originally posted by Whorty View PostI get that people don't like dull but that is hardly tulip in the run down, poverty, dirty, tulip-hole kind of way. My point stands though, that website is full of whingers and their complains about every town because that's what people are like.

Sterile mock Tudor dullness. But each to their own.

That website is a hive of complainers - there is very little (if any) positive said about any area. Even the likes of Weybridge, in prime commuter belt, is slated.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostCroydon - iLiveHere - Britain's worst places to live
Went for an interview in East Croydon once (early 80's) thought it was a bit boring and didn't take the job anyway
